Happy Birthday Chance

Chance was working the graveyard shift on his b-day so when he came at 6 that morning, it woke me up when he came in just like it usually does and I listened as he hopped in the shower. Since he seems to get a pretty big kick out of scaring everyone I thought it would be pretty funny to give him a taste of his own medicine so I waited and waited and waited for him to get done with what seemed like the LONGEST SHOWER EVER (well not really too long cause our hot water doesn't last more than 20 minutes) but as soon as I heard the water shut off I got out of bed and waited in the pitch black hallway for him to open the door. I was so quiet and careful, I even closed our bedroom door so when he came out he wouldn't suspect a thing. So he swings open the door and the hallway is momentarily flooded with blinding light but not one second after the door opens he shuts the light off and it's pitch black again. So now it's even darker, you know how when you're in the dark and you turn on a light, it takes your eyes a few seconds to get used to the dark again?. . . well he ruined my night vision when he turned off that light, so as he opened the door and switched off the light I jumped out and yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" (this all happened with in probably 1.82 seconds) but as I jumped out I accidentally hit him in the face with my hand so he's just been scared out of his mind and hit in the face and doesn't know what's going on so he drops to the ground and I just start laughing uncontrollably. It was so funny. He just sat there and said "MY EYE! YOU GOT MY EYE!!!!" needless to say, it was the best birthday surprise ever.
I got him an exhaust pipe for his dirt bike and an outfit or two which he seemed to really enjoy. I love it when I can get him a good gift, just the smile on his face and how happy he is, I love it. So that Saturday night we gathered a bunch of friends and went to Port 'O' Call to celebrate, I don't have any pictures cause I couldn't find my camera before we left. But it was fun times.
