A Few Things I am thankful for. . .

Tis the season to be thankful. . .
here are a few things I am grateful for

-OUR TROOPS-

whether or not you agree with the reasons they are over there or who sent them or any of that. People need to look beyond that. I am SO grateful that we have brave men and women who are willing to go to war and fight for this country. Who are willing to put their lives on the line no matter what. THAT is just plain commendable. It doesn't matter what their personal views are they fight for our country, for OUR rights.
These people, they are willing to fight for everything our country stands for and I honestly from the bottom of my heart am indescribably thankful for that!
(sidebar-We would not be a country if it weren't for the armed forces. I think everyone needs to be a little more thankful. If we didn't have these men and women volunteering to put their lives on the line we'd see another draft.
BE THANKFUL YOU HAVE A CHOICE NOT TO BE IN THE ARMY! Think about it, if these people weren't there, your dad, brother, nephew, cousin, husband, boyfriend, best friend they could all be ripped away from you, drafted to fight in a war)

-MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS-

I know it's a given. But really, I love all of my family and all of my friends more than I could even begin to describe. They're the one's that have been there for me when I needed them, thru thick and thin. Unconditionally loving me no matter how bad I mess up.
I love all of you SO MUCH and I wouldn't be the person I am today with out you guys!

-MY GOOD HEALTH/MODERN MEDICINE-

I am grateful that I am healthy! It truly is a blessing. And I am very grateful for modern medicine. Where would we be without x-rays, CT scans, antibiotics, or vaccinations? honestly, if it weren't for modern medicine we'd all be dying from little things like the flu, measles, or tuberculosis! It's amazing and I am thankful for it.

-MUSIC-

Thank you god for music. thank you thank you thank you! I LOVE MUSIC. I honestly don't know where I would be with out music. It can inspire you, it can cheer you up, it can open your eyes! I mean come on! music. . .
it's awesome!
I can't even tell you how much I love music and singing. oh man. Think about it, there is something out there for everyone! EVERYONE likes SOME SORT of music. it's just amazing. . . .

-BEING ABLE TO PAY MY BILLS-

Think of how many people out there that are struggling to make ends meet. Their families are living off of food bank donations. Honestly in these times this is definitely something to be thankful for. I mean yes, I work very hard for the money I have and so does my husband.
BUT some people work HARDER and get less money!

-BORDER PATROL-

I don't care if you are offended. I am not being racist, I feel the same way toward illegal immigranst from ANY country. The bottom line is: IF YOU ARE NOT A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO WORK HERE! that's it, end of story. Learn english, become a citizen and then we'll talk. Otherwise, get the hell out of my country. I am sick of our government catering to these people. I don't care what country you are from if it's not the US then you need to go thru the process of becoming a citizen before you can reap the benefits. Social Security, Welfare, WIC, these are all programs that are available to U.S. CITIZENS!!!! not illegal immigrants.
GET OVER IT! You wouldn't expect to go to Germany and leech off their government, drive their economy into the ground, change their national language to include English and have their government cater to your every waking need would you?

-MY EDUCATION-

I only have a high school education thus far, but I am a million times grateful for that. I am glad I was able to attend school (although, while enrolled I likened it to torture) I am glad I didn't have to drop out to support my family or something along those lines.

That's all I have for now. . .

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
